We are looking for a Corporate Counsel who will report directly to the General Counsel. A successful Corporate Counsel will work closely with the General Counsel and the Legal Team on a variety of matters ranging from Corporate Governance, employee and immigration matters, intellectual property matters and licensing matters. This is a remote, work from home position ideally in a location close to one of the Veeam office locations in Wellesley, MA or Alpharetta, GA. Responsibilities Responsibilities. Handle global employment and immigration matters; Manage the Company’s patent and trademark portfolio and enforce the Company’s IP usage policy globally; Manage outside counsel to apply for new patents on innovative technology; Manage litigation, pre-legal disputes and employment disputes that may arise globally; and Assist the General Counsel with emerging corporate development initiatives including mergers and acquisitions. Qualifications Qualifications. A juris doctor and good standing with the Massachusetts or Georgia Bar; Minimum of 7 years of legal experience in either employment law, immigration law, litigation management or patent and trademark prosecution. In-house legal experience with a technology firm is a plus; and US government experience is also a plus.
