Vedder Price P.C. is Hiring an Associate - Litigation Near Chicago, IL

Vedder Price is seeking a junior to mid-level associate (2nd to 4th year) to join its Litigation Group in the Chicago office. Candidates must have 2-4 years of general commercial litigation experience. Candidates must have deposition and case management experience as well as strong research and brief writing skills. Candidates must be admitted and in good standing with the Illinois State Bar or taking steps to become admitted in Illinois.

All Vedder Price associates are expected to provide high-quality legal service to the firm’s clients, track all chargeable and non-chargeable time in keeping with the firm’s policies and standards, and participate in business development, seminars, trainings and meetings in keeping with their practice area and the firm’s policies and standards.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

Qualifications & Required Experience:

  • Must have 2-4 years of general commercial Litigation experience
  • Must have deposition and case management experience
  • Must have strong research and brief writing skills
  • Must have a solid academic background
  • Must have a J.D. degree
  • Must be admitted and in good standing with the State Bar of Illinois or currently taking steps to become admitted in Illinois
