The staff accountant role will be a hybrid work schedule working remote and onsite in our West Palm Beach, FL office location.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist in developing and documenting accounting policies and procedures.

Record/post monthly journal entries.

Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.

Prepare statutory quarterly and annual statement filings.

Prepare premium tax filings and other state regulatory filings.

Assist with audit requests.

Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Strong time management and attention to detail. 

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively through multiple channels. 

Basic ability to navigate computers and Microsoft Office applications.
