Summary The HR Specialist will perform administrative and recruiting tasks to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s HR Team. Job Description What you will do: Respond accurately and professionally to questions/concerns from employees through multiple channels (in-person, email, phone, etc.) in a timely manner Assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the HR function Complete projects and assigned HR duties Complete I-9 forms and verify documentation Process unemployment claims Assist with employment verifications Assist with onboarding tasks for new employees Process monthly expense reports Assist with coordination of employee engagement and activities Advise Hiring Managers: Listen to and understand the needs of our stakeholders Provide hiring teams with guidance and consultation on the recruitment & selection process and best practices Influence hiring managers with market data that shapes recruitment approach and decision making Provide feedback and support in executing and delivering value to the business Communicate with internal & exterior customers to ensure alignment Tactfully drive the hiring process. Recruit: Help support staffing/recruiting programs Work with hiring managers to document requirements of job openings Promote the company image to candidates Develop networks, to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates Pre-screen resumes, evaluate candidates and conduct interviews What you may bring: Experience using an ATS to manage candidates and recruiting process Enthusiasm for finding and attracting top talent LinkedIn, Indeed and other sourcing platform experience Prefer a Bachelor’s degree and some related experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience recruiting in a manufacturing environment High-volume recruiting experience Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
