Vantage Care of South Hadley is a 132 bed Skilled Nursing Center located in South Hadley, MA. Vantage focuses on Respect, Compassion and Skilled Professionalism. We are an administrator driven organization with a home office providing appropriate support in order for your facility to succeed.

This dynamic opportunity is for a seasoned, energetic, skilled professional, whose goal is to improve the lives of others, exceed all expectations and bring passion into day to day management. This type of opportunity doesn’t present often.

The Administrator is responsible for the overall operations, leadership, management and success of the facility which includes but is not limited to excellent clinical outcomes, financial management, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, business development, resident, family and staff relations, care delivery and community outreach. In addition, he or she will also be responsible for attracting and retaining top performing team members, while continuing the supervision and career coaching of existing team members.

Qualifications

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with current MA license

Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator preferred

Demonstrated skill with census development and achieving financial outcomes

Exceptional command of local, state and federal regulations

Unwavering professionalism, compassion and respect

Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit

Ability to respond calmly and professionally in challenging environments or situations

Extraordinary interpersonal skills

Powerful desire to improve the lives of others

Effective computer skills

Administrative Functions

Demonstrate proficiency with census development and achieving financial outcomes

Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility’s programs and activities in accordance with regulations and Vero guidelines.

Implement written policies and procedures and professional standards of practice that govern the operation of the facility.

Facilitate and coach strong department leaders netting an extraordinary team.

Ensure that all employees, residents, visitors, and the general public follow the facility’s established policies and procedures.

Coordinate and steer Quality Assurance and other related improvement projects designed to enhance the resident’s experience and outcomes.

Engage and successfully manage the survey and ombudsman processes.

Conduct community awareness programs as necessary to keep the community informed of the facility’s programs, services, activities, etc.

Assist the Quality Assurance and Assessment Committee in developing and implementing appropriate plans of action to correct identified quality deficiencies.

Schedule and participate in departmental meetings to ensure that appropriate information sharing is provided on a continuous basis.
