Valor, LLC in Owensboro KY is looking for a highly motivated, independent, positive personality to fill the role of Accounting Department clerk. This position will be to assist the Accounting Department to process daily tasks in its entirety. This includes receiving invoices, obtaining approval, entering invoices and processing payments. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Process supplier invoices and EFT draft notices daily. 

· Resolve any discrepancies with supplier pricing and taxes daily. 

· Reconcile BOL activity to ensure all items have been processed. 

· Process and reconcile deferred State Excise taxes.

· Provides administrative support for Management through Data Input, Review as needed. 

· Ensuring Supervisor is informed and up to date with any accounting related matters. 

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing any related results as needed. 

· Performs additional duties as assigned to accomplish organization mission. 

· Assists in Monthly and Year-end closing procedures.

Requirements

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A qualified candidate is one who demonstrates a high level of organization and multi-tasking. Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal communication and data management skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
