Oversee activities of the Quality Assurance function. Support and encourage continuous improvement initiatives throughout all departments of the company.
Manage, direct and coordinate all activities of inspection and quality assurance including the receiving inspection, in-process inspection, final product inspection, product returns, document control, and all support activities in a PCBA and electro-mechanical/Box Build assembly environment. This includes: training and direction of quality personnel and establishment of quality assurance procedures and statistical process controls. This also includes the facilitation and monitoring of the quality of products, manufacturing processes and procedures. Lead and coordinate activities for maintaining ISO-9001/ 13485 compliance and audit of supporting processes and procedures. Direct and coordinate all supplier quality processes. Support HR training efforts throughout the entire Company by providing training and quality improvement tools. Responsible for fulfilling company environmental reporting requirements (RoHS, REACH, Prop 65, Conflict Minerals, etc.).
Minimum of five years experience in Quality Assurance management. ISO-9001, ISO 13485, and IPC-610 training and experience required. Electro-mechanical assembly experience, including PCBA, PTH, SMT, and Box-Build. Prior experience in the use of statistical methods and process control highly desirable. BS degree in engineering or technical field or equivalent. ASQ affiliation desirable. Excellent analytical and communication skills required (verbal and written). Professional, dependable, high energy level and self motivated. Attention to detail and accuracy, and use of problem analysis tools. FILE MAKER PRO, ACROBAT experience desirable. Excellent skills in EXCEL, WORD, POWER POINT, SPC required.
