Valley Humane Society is looking for an organized, detail-oriented fundraising professional to join our team as Development Manager. Reporting directly to the President as a key member of Valley Humane Society’s management team, you’ll work closely with organization leadership, staff, donors, volunteers, and the general public while creating and implementing a fundraising strategy that allows us to grow our impact in the community. Valley Humane Society provides a supportive fundraising environment built on a culture of philanthropy. The Development Manager position is ideal for a seasoned, knowledgeable, dedicated fundraiser with exceptional donor focus, who enjoys communicating with people and is results-oriented.

Responsibilities Owned by This Role Include:

Planning, implementing, and coordinating fundraising strategies, including: events, major donors, planned giving, corporate support, and capital campaigns; Developing positive relationships with existing and new donors; Working with President to develop and maintain annual budget projections and actuals.

Basic Requirements:

CFRE preferred

Available to work weekends and evenings, as needed

Full COVID-19 vaccination required.
