What You Will Do:
Utilizes skills and knowledge to facilitate efficient operation of the medical office. Performs duties associated with answering telephones, scheduling appointments, gathering information from customers and other clerical functions as assigned/needed. Assists in filing information in patient charts and filing charts in medical records cabinet. FSLA status: non-exempt.

High school graduate (or equivalent)
Experience
Previous experience in a medical office desired.
Qualifications
Must have knowledge of basic office functions and computer skills. Candidate must possess oral and written communication skills, will need to pay close attention to detail and accuracy and exhibit excellent customer service skills. Handwriting must be legible and spelling accurate. Appearance must be neat. Must be tactful, and able to maintain confidentiality and handle stressful situations in a professional manner As a representative of Page Memorial Hospital, all comments, attitudes, actions, and behaviors have a direct affect on the hospital's image and perceptions of service quality. Interaction with patients, guests, visitors, volunteer workers, co-workers, supervisors, and other employees must be in a manner that is friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative and professional.
