What You Will Do:
The Directory, Emergency Services maintains 24 hour accountability and overall management for respective departments. Assumes the role of VP of Nursing as delegated in her absence. Reports action plans and outcomes to the VP of Nursing. Retains signature authority for all budgeted expenses. Delegates to appropriate authority to purchase budgeted expense items. All other signature authority to be delineated by Vice President of Nursing. Serves as a resource to WMC and community on program/services.
What You Will Bring:
Education
Bachelors Nursing Required
Masters Nursing Or advanced degree desired.
Experience
5 Years Upper level nursing management required
Certification & Licensures
Based on primary state of residency and in accordance with current Virginia Board of Nursing Regulations, must be licensed or eligible to practice pending licensure as a RN in VA - required
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and evaluate patient care processes and system to support the practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care. Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and evaluate information system and processes that promote desired patient, professional and organizational outcomes. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with nursing staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams and executive leaders.
