Valley Cooperative Association is a unique bakery wholesale distributor serving Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula for over 70 years! 

Valley is located in Greenville, WI. We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated Assistant Transportation Manager to join our team! The Assistant Transportation Manager assists the Transportation Manager in supervising drivers and acts as the back up to the Transportation Manager, Assistant Transportation Manager-Routing and Fleet Support Coordinator.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing drivers
  • Coordinating drivers with their assigned equipment
  • Updating the driver’s schedule
  • Reviewing drivers and their performance yearly
• Answering all incoming calls between the hours of 7am and 12 pm
• Maintaining tractors and trailers, lining up repairs as needed
• Routing
• Handling insurance claims/accidents
• Scheduling DOT appointments
• Keeping DVIRs current
• Maintaining DOT folders
• Maintaining End of Month mileage
• Checking vehicles for cleanliness
• Taking out occasional route as a backup driver
• Reviewing events on Lytx
• Monitoring Motive Fleet App
• Accurately operating DF InTime software.

This job might be an excellent fit if you:

• Maintain a Class A CDL and can pass a DOT physical.
• Can work Monday through Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm or later as required.
• Have management or supervisory experience.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Display regular and predictable attendance.
• Maintain a clean, acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
