Valiant Harbor International is Hiring a Remote Program Analyst

  • Job Location: Arlington, VA

  • Pay: Up to $95K/yr. (Depends on Experience)

SUMMARY:

We are a Program Analyst to provide business administration and programmatic support to the Office of Naval Research–Global (ONR-G) to enable International Science and Technology (S&T) Engagements, Operations, Corporate Communications, and fulfil S&T Logistical requirements associated with the ONR Global Headquarters and Science Advisor (SA) Program. The Program Analyst’s primary responsibility is to provide robust administrative execution in the office productivity tasks required to execute the ONR Global Science Advisor (SA) Program and associated ONR-G command events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Director of the Science Advisor Program (SA Director) in the execution of the program’s mission and vision.
  • Serve as the primary resource between the SA Program and ONR, Naval Research Enterprise (NRE), Naval Research and Development Establishment (NR&DE), Navy and university laboratories and warfare centers, Department of Defense (DoD) Science & Technology (S&T) organizations, international defense organizations, and commercial industry.
  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution in support of command and department-level events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Track and recommend solutions to a variety of concurrent and complex business problems that require sensitive or intensive coordination of relationships with ONR Global staff, ONR, NRE, and members of the NR&DE.
  • Facilitate and/or maintain administrative accuracy of all SA Program documentation in common drives and shared online platforms.
  • Schedule and attend program technical and financial reviews, working groups and key demonstrations or tests.
  • Schedule and attend command technical (S&T) and business administrative working groups.
  • Support data calls, reviews, and evaluations related to S&T topic reviews.
  • Track SA actions and deadlines with respect to SA Director tasking.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant work, or an associate degree and 10 years of U.S. Government S&T program support work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing customer requirements across a broad range of tasks including briefing preparation, maintaining administration history, and supporting the administration, execution, and evaluation of management programs.
  • Professional maturity to professionally interact daily with 0-6/GS-15 level officers/civilians in Joint, Navy, and Marine Corps Command.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in planning, scheduling, and managing conferences and multi-day meetings.
  • Working knowledge of the Department of Defense, U.S. Navy, and the Naval Research and Development Establishment (NR&DE).

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Prior service in the U.S. Navy or Marine Corps is desired.
  • Experience in supporting research and development (R&D), testing and evaluation (T&E), and transfer/transition of emerging technologies and warfighter capabilities.
  • Experience with Navy and/or Marine Corps operational activities and staff commands.
  • Experience with University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs).
  • Experience in any Engineering discipline.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
