General Description:

A Temporary Marketing Analyst to support the set-up of rebate program calculations, QC, reporting & analytics for management review & comparison to plan/budget. The position will perform analyses, identify trends, create reports, and communicate insights that drive marketing decisions for product and customer with goal of improving the value of rebate investments. In addition, support brand managers by providing product reporting via Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud, Tableau and/or PowerBI. Support Maintenance activities/governance of sales data. Ability to operate in a digital technical environment and with end-user business needs in mind. This is a terrific opportunity to apply knowledge in analytics, data visualization, CRM, and reporting for a growth-oriented marketing team. Strong partnership with marketing, sales, IT and finance teams in particular the preparation of reporting for reward calculations and development of CRM for use by the marketing team. The position will last approximately ten months based on defined projects.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud Rebate Management, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
  • Data analysis sales and financial database to provide reports as defined by Director of Marketing & Marketing Fulfillment Manager
  • Ensure accuracy of all reported data by continually reviewing and analyzing current sources, processes, and systems functions.
  • Prepares graphs, spreadsheets, reports, scorecards, maps, and PowerPoint presentations as required.
  • Report & Data Visualization design in PowerBi, testing, Quality Control, and review/train end-user Audience
  • May collaborate with other functional teams (sales, finance, IT) and third-party vendor
  • Compliance with finance and legal policies, safety, stewardship, and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Science, related subject such as PowerBi Certification or Salesforce Certification
  • Direct experience with following software/systems: PowerBI, Tableau, Salesforce (Manufacturing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud), Microsoft, SAP, and automation/enablement software
  • Proficiency in querying and manipulating large data sets for analytical purposes using SQL-like languages
  • Data Modeling in Microsoft Excel or Power Pivot
  • Ability to analyze and optimize key marketing programs across channels
  • Financial literacy (how to read a P&L, credits/debits, accruals)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Passion for marketing, sales, agriculture, education, digital communication
  • Ability to manage remote work setting using voice, text, WebEx, and digital methods to interact with manager and internal sales team
  • Excellent people skills, values team effort, contribution and collaboration with Marketing Team, Digital Sales, IT and Finance

  • Work Environment includes exposure to or working in or around equipment and machinery including a computer keyboard and mouse. Business Travel <20% in Region Travel with occasional group sales meetings requiring travel within the U.S. Willing and able to work in alternate territories, regions for a period of several weeks for training, temporary Territory coverage and for a sales territory assignment within the U.S. should those opportunities arise.

  • Frequency Definitions: Constant = Over 40% / Frequent = Up to 40% / Occasional = Up to 10%
