Vacaville Solano Services Corporation is Hiring a Graveyard Shelter Attendant Near Vacaville, CA

This is a entry-level position overseeing the daily routines of our residents through consistent enforcement of corporate policies and procedures and effective communication with residents and team members. We have set schedules that we are looking to fill. These are part-time positions ranging from 16 to 24 hours a week. The shifts consist of swing shifts, over nights, and weekends. Schedules are viewable upon request. All applicants will be required to pass a background check and drug screening.

Description:

• Checking residents (and their personal items) in and out of the shelter
• Ensuring residents are complying with program guidelines and procedures
• Monitoring client behavior and reporting positive and negative interactions to Case Manager
• Answering incoming calls, and screening potential residents, as needed
• Conducting daily chore checks
• Assisting with room cleanings when residents exit the program
• Preparing rooms for new incoming residents
• Monitoring and maintaining shower and laundry schedules
• Performing daily room searches
• Conducting ground checks
• Assisting with general cleanliness of the shelter
• Picking up meals from Opportunity House
• Cooking if necessary
• Assisting with picking up and putting away donations
• Completing all logs and reports in a timely manner
• Documenting everything in the staff log
• Accurately dispensing and counting medications

Night Shift, everything above plus

• Preparing Lunches for the next day
• Doing administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Basic computer skills
