Accounts Receivable / Notice to Owner / Administrative Duties

Commercial Contractor is seeking a qualified Accounts Receivable Specialist for an immediate full-time career opportunity. This position supports the Accounting Manager and will assist with all aspects of the Accounts Receivable process focusing on: Bill Entry, follow up, collections, and closing of job files. Quickbooks experience is preferred. Candidates will have high volume Data Entry and will need to possess a strong attention to detail and accuracy of work product.

Salary plus benefits including PTO, health, dental and vision. Background/Drug Screen required. This position is in Winter Garden, Florida.

Responsibilities Include:

• Enter company invoices into accounting system by reviewing and matching to contracts, purchase orders, or similar contract documents and resolving any discrepancies
• File Notice to Owners with assistance from supporting filing companies
• Work closely with Project Managers and Accounting Staff to ensure accuracy
• Utilization of billing systems such at Textura
• QB Invoice Entry and Follow-Up
• Review and reconcile monthly receivables
• Communicate with clients and internal staff regarding payment status of invoices, billed changes, general inquires, and all other relevant requests
• Other duties related to accounting and administration as determined by Accounting Manager

Skills:

• Proven accounting experience with understanding of full-cycle accounting
• Must be detail oriented, with accurate data entry skills
• Strong organizational skills and deadline oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong follow-up skills
• Possess Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Must have intermediate to advance skills in Outlook, Excel and other MS office programs
• Proven ability to work well with a team, showing initiative, a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000 to $48,000
