UWM is Hiring a Network Analyst Near Pontiac, MI

THE GIG

As a Network Analyst you will work with Network Services, Information Technology, and Business Leadership based on Company goals, Team goals, Production goals and Industry changes to accomplish three primary objectives; 1) Optimize operational efficiency, 2) Align the team to business success criteria, and 3) Maximize business value through realization of enhanced and added capabilities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Collaborate with the other Product Owners, Business & Technology Leaders on all projects that impact Network Services 
  • Knowledgeable engagement of other business area(s) to provide IT driven solutions
  • Work with Architecture/Project Lead to determine project size, alternative solutions 
  • Engage other Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts to know how other project impacts to your business team 
  • Understand and/or determine the business value for every initiative 
  • Provide the Network Leadership Team with timely information and decisions around project status and direction

Project Management 

  • Perform project management for small/medium size projects that do not require a PM 
  • Conduct backlog and knowledge transfer meetings 
  • Maintain documentation and configuration standards 
  • Assist Leadership with planning Network Services roadmap and strategy 
  • Jira Specialist – Holding team accountable to project management delivery 
  • Work with leadership to set priorities and hold team accountable

Communication 

  • Promote a clear communication channel between Business Stakeholders and Network Services Leadership Team 
  • Foster a strong working relationship as a foundation for development of technical solutions maximizing business value 
  • Socializing the Product Vision and Roadmap to the Stakeholder Community 
  • Proactive communication of product delivery and workload 

Client Liaison 

  • Engage with other business area(s) to understand upcoming project requirements 
  • Facilitate work completion for larger, non-project initiatives including training requirements, cross-team coordination of significant stakeholder communication 
  • Clearly express and deliver the business value, “the why,” behind the project to IT Leadership 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year in Network Services or prior experience in IT or as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or Business Analyst
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of policies and procedures 
  • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally
