Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain in-house applications.
• Triaging and debugging issues in the code and determining the root cause.
• Work with management to understand business needs and provide fast and efficient solutions that ultimately help our staff and customers.
• Understand business logic from legacy code, and adjust/modernize same to suit current requirements.
• Write scalable and maintainable programs that can cater to a variety of customers’ billing and data processing needs.
• Provide remote and onsite support for our staff.
• Configure and maintain hardware (desktop and servers)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Code corrections for identified defects for new and existing releases of the software
• Coordinate with supervision and management focusing on an effective communication from a delivery perspective
• Position may be required to work on multiple projects simultaneously (development, releases, installations, conversions, support, training, etc.)

• Able to discuss and develop technical solutions for staff
• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements

Education & Experience:

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with C# (desktop/web/mobile development), networking, and being able to provide technical support.

Travel Requirements:

• Willing to travel out of state for emergency storm work.

License & Certifications:

• A valid Driver's License is Required.

Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance/coordination of equipment and tools, be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods, be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary, be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day, have the endurance necessary to traverse various terrain, be capable of performing job duties throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day, be able to communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and communicate and handle conflict professionally.

• Works near/around energized, hazardous parts and equipment.
• Exposed to traffic.
• Works around excessive noise from machines (bore drill, backhoe, trencher, mini excavator, bucket trucks, digger derricks, concrete saw, jackhammers).
• May be exposed to hot and cold environments, poisonous plants or reptiles, and stinging insects.
