The Division of Gastroenterology at St Elizabeths Medical Center, Boston, MA, has a faculty position opening for a board-certified advanced/therapeutic endoscopist. The division is seeking to recruit a second advanced endoscopist to accommodate a growing referral base within a large integrated health care system. Join a team of physicians and advanced practitioners who provide high-quality, patient-centered care at a tertiary care hospital. andidate would join an established hospital-based gastroenterology physician practice and will develop a significant specialty focused practice that includes inpatient and outpatient, advanced/therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Candidate must have training and/or experience in performing therapeutic endoscopic procedures including EUS, ERCP, endoluminal stenting, Barretts ablation, and other advanced procedures such as management of complex colonic polyps.

Candidate shall also have the opportunity to serve as Medical Director of Advanced Endoscopy Services for the health care network of hospitals, and work collaboratively with key stakeholders within the healthcare network to optimize care coordination for advanced/therapeutic gastroenterology endoscopic services across the continuum of care and clinical settings.

Candidate should have extensive administrative experience in building a cooperative and collaborative clinical environment in an integrated health care system, with a focus on engagement of stakeholders, clinical operations, and strategic development. Candidate should be board-certified in Gastroenterology, obtain a Massachusetts medical license, and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
