Tutor positions are open to currently enrolled students and community members who would like to serve in a tutoring capacity while positively representing the institution. A math tutor will provide individual and small group tutoring to students in a walk-in tutoring center. A tutor will help students who enroll in mathematics to understand the course material and learning objectives. A tutor will assist them in concept development, problem solving, and study skills. A tutor should have the essential characteristics of professionalism, skill-sets in subject area, and ability to devote adequate time to the position.
