The Job

The primary purpose of the director of rehabilitation is leadership, management, day to day operations and overall success of rehab services for the facility. Position will direct the rehab departments of physical, occupational and speech therapy, to ensure that the highest quality rehab services are provided and in accordance with the laws, regulations, and company standards.

Requirements

• PT, OT or SLP and must be a graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Prefer at least one (1) year in a supervisory role in a rehab environment
• Employee must hold current and active State license/Registration/Certification.
• Supervisory and/or administrative experience in rehabilitative long-term care preferred
• Knowledge of the Medicare PDPM system is preferred
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary communication skills
