We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Test Analyst 3 to work out of Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado.

Job Summary:
Conduct Operational Test and Evaluations (OT&E) in support to 17th Test and Evaluation Squadron on Space Domain Awareness (SDA) mission systems. Conduct operationally realistic testing in order to identify strengths and limitations in the system architecture. Determine interrelationship factors that can adversely affect system effectiveness and suitability. Write detailed Test Plans to identify data collection requirements, analysis techniques, and expected statistical outputs. Create Test Execution Procedures to clearly identify expected operator/maintainer and test actions during the test events. Analyze data collected during test and report out independent findings as prescribed by customer guidance. Generate detailed Test Reports containing statistical results using table and graphs, written findings, deficiency identification, and fielding recommendations. Direct and/or participate in all phases of test planning, test execution, and test reporting.

Essential Duties:

  • Conduct test of mission systems to assess mission performance.
  • Build test scope using Critical Operational Issues (COIs), Operational Capabilities, Objectives, Measures of Effectiveness and Suitability (MOEs/MOSs), and Measures of Performance (MOPs).
  • Develop test approach with the purpose of performing statistical analysis to evaluate system performance.
  • Develop operational test documentation to include: test plans, execution procedures, data analysis plans, test reports, and required briefings.
  • Create surveys to evaluate human factors acceptability, documentation, training, safety, and other areas as applicable.
  • Direct data collection activities and verify all required test objectives are complete.
  • Evaluate data and assess system performance using the collected test data, the validated truth data, and the methodologies and tools developed during test planning.
  • Use statistical analysis tools and methods to evaluate test data and document test results.
  • Write technical reports to accurately describe results and problems encountered during a test.
  • Present test results for customer review and ensure all documents and briefings comply with higher headquarters guidance.
  • Assist other analysts by reviewing and providing constructive comments to test briefings and documentations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field desired. 5 years of technical experience in DoD Space Domain Awareness systems and/or related systems and working knowledge of DoD or USAF/USSF Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) test design, analysis, and test reporting in operational environments is desired.
  • An additional four (4) years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for Journeyman education requirements, for a total of nine (9) years of experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
  • Possess a broad understanding of statistics to include: data distributions, data sampling techniques, confidence intervals, and regression test techniques.
  • Understand how to evaluate common system effectiveness and suitability factors including reliability, maintainability, and availability.
  • Possess working knowledge of United States Air Force and United States Space Force test and evaluation directives.
  • Able to use data reduction tools to analyze raw data and identify system deficiencies.

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $90,000-112,000; however, USfalcon considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities as well as a candidate’s work experience, knowledge, skills, education and training.
