Follow Us on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/donaldson/ The Global Quality Manager will have local & global responsibility for establishing and maintaining quality standards for existing & new global Mobile Solutions products and services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement. Ideally, this person will be able to work out of our Bloomington, MN headquarters. Primary responsibilities: Develop long-term and short-term, progressive plans to proactively meet the global business demands improving strategies and relationships across Donaldson. Develop & maintain the quality strategy systems and processes to meet the company's strategies and aspirations. Provide leadership and direction in the development of effective quality policies and programs which ensure that the organization produces quality products. Partner with sales teams and original equipment manufacturers as a single point of contact for quality related activities. Ensure cross-functional teams are formed for the review and resolution of non-conformance or non-compliance to standards and/or regulations as required. Work directly with the account management teams to support new product design and releases. Provide leadership and functional direction to plant quality control functions to achieve the production of quality products. Serve as the primary contact for the US region Mobile Solutions manufacturing plants and a regional contact to other areas of the globe. Champions and lead multi-site/multi-region preventive and continuous improvement initiatives. Facilitate leadership meetings to help drive quality initiatives, processes, & systems. Be visible and available to support product lifecycle activities with customers, engineering, procurement and manufacturing. Audit quality functions for compliance with established systems and standards; recommends corrective action as necessary. Effectively communicate and represent quality to leaders & other areas of the company to enhance inter-company cooperation and understanding on quality standards and systems necessary to meet customer requirements. Report on progress toward objectives and opportunities for significant advancements in quality leadership. Direct the preparation of quality cost control reports; cost estimates and manpower/equipment requirement forecasts. TRAVEL: Up to 20%, dependent upon business needs Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in quality, science, engineering or technology related field 8 years of experience within the manufacturing industry, including managerial experience Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes & engineering Responsibility for leadership of the divisional quality function Demonstrated ability to be a strategic leader/thinker and planner Broad knowledge & implementation of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality standards Working knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP) Key words: quality, multi-site, manufacturing, automotive, customer-centric #LI-Hybrid Come make a World of Difference!
