Job Summary:

CAP Fleet is looking for a motivated Outside/Regional Sales Representative covering the Houston area. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for leading all activities with current customers and ensuring that we continuously deliver an engaging experience to our customers that keeps them coming back.

Outside Sales Representatives are responsible for delivering on sales targets along with other key sales performance measures. Excellent leadership abilities and a proven track record are required to be successful in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible and accountable for all sales engagement

• Continuously cultivate new customers

• Ensure all leads are properly engaged and logged into the CRM

• Perform weekly outside sales call to generate business and support our local customers.

• Personally reach out to interested customers via call, text, and email daily

• Generate accurate and timely quotes in response to customer requests

• Set up, manage, and maintain local, state, and federal contracts.

• Become knowledgeable and proficient in teaching all high-tech features of our equipment for sale

• Assist customers in selecting proper equipment by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.

• Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of vendors products

• Learn to perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards

• Regularly report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis

• Resolve customer issues

• Other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Job Qualifications:

• 2-5 years sales experience

• High School or higher

• Must be able to function effectively as a member of a team

• Must have a demonstrated mastery of sales

• Professional appearance and work ethic

• Must be able to interact with a diverse group of people

• Ability to make time bounded decisions

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

• Prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time.

• Strong computer and phone abilities (Internet, MS, Outlook, CRM)

• Strong leadership skills

• Excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills

• Public Safety Equipment experience preferred

• Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public and on daily basis

• Highly professional and dependable

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment

• Strong written and communication skills

• Prior experience as a Public Safety employee (Police or Fire) a plus

• Prior experience working with or for an Upfitter a plus

Physical Requirements Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Travel Requirements 2 to 3 days a week in the designated region and trade show attendance required
