The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Create production and procurement schedules for area of responsibility. Develops and maintains operating rhythms to ensure smooth supply chain operations, aligning supply with demand. Provides a high degree of planning analysis to support decision making. Publishes and presents service and inventory metrics and results. Identifies and leads projects that improve supply chain speed and inventory investment. Review and reports on project progress with management. Works closely with the business to understand customer requirements and forecasts. Works closely with manufacturing to ensure alignment to business requirements by setting and maintaining sufficient inventory levels and lead times. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution One (1) combined year of experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, materials, or business management or engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Manufacturing experience in a manufacturing setting/environment Experience working directly with outsourced manufacturing locations Strong systems experience, including ERP/SAP Advanced data analysis & Microsoft Excel skills APICS CPIM certification or willingness to pursue Lean Six Sigma experience or certification Travel: May include up to 5% domestic Relocation Assistance: May be authorized This position is onsite in Columbia, Missouri with a hybrid option, working for the Medical Solutions Division within the Healthcare Business Group.
