US6035 Clear Channel Outdoor LLC is Hiring a Local Sales Manager Near Oakland, CA

Clear Channel Outdoor Job Summary: The Local Sales Manager (LSM) is key member of the local management team and drives revenue on our assets. This role works with our team of Account Executives (AEs) to maximize local, national, mobile applications and other initiatives of the company. The LSM will create revenue by having a deep understanding of our clients’ needs, the local marketplace and through coaching and guiding our team of AEs and the Marketing/Sales Support team. Job Responsibilities Drives for revenue goal attainment, both quarterly and annually while reporting, revenue projections, and forecasts. Engages with a National Sales organization and their supporting teams to develop impactful and effective marketing resources. Implements targeted, innovative, customer centric, business focused initiatives that drive revenue growth by leveraging appropriate resources and partnering with key stakeholders. Develops sales force through recruiting, selecting and growing exceptional sales talent; manages and coaches by holding employees accountable against metrics and behaviors. Leads, manages and oversees a culture of diversity and high ethical standards. Leads the strategic development of market programs and digital strategies and use Sales to drive revenues and achieve business objectives. Cultivates market insights that navigate new opportunities while helping to grow share with the existing base of customers. Other duties and projects as required. Job Qualifications: Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree required with a preference in Business or Marketing. Graduate degree is a plus Work Experience 3 years of successful business to business (BTB ) sales experience required. Experience leading a sales team preferred. Media sales experience; understanding of broadcast and internet/digital applications preferred. Skills Strong sales talent mindset – exceptional people management and team performance experience. Demonstrated ability to make business and staffing decisions while creating positive energy with the team; leads through all circumstance and challenges. Media sales experience; understanding of broadcast and internet/digital applications preferred. Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them. Knowledge of media and advertising industry, business cycles, key revenue and expense drivers. Deep and broad business acumen with strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities to drive revenue. Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Competencies Revenue and Profitability Management– Managing the revenue stream, using internal (organizational) and external (industry, market) sources of information to achieve the organization's chosen value proposition and maximize profitability. Performance Management – Managing employee performance for success where goals are created, competencies are incorporated, and constructive feedback is provided for continuous improvement. Planning and Organizing: Reaching goals by making and following plans, setting and sticking to priorities and allocating resources effectively. Fostering Communication: Listening and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences, promoting dialogue and effectively gets message across. Negotiating: Seeking to resolve different perspectives or matters of dispute by discovering shared interests and finding mutually acceptable solutions. Physical Demands Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day. Ability to travel outside of the office 50% of the time for client meetings, periodic corporate meetings and training and industry events. Access to a reliable vehicle.
