Airgas National Carbonation, a growing division within Airgas, is currently searching for a V.P. of Finance. We are looking for someone who understands that Finance is not just about the numbers. The right candidate will have the aptitude to discern underlying trends from noise and focus the business on taking action to improve results. He/she must be confident in helping to develop and communicate a strategy. He/she must also be able to quickly develop rapport and be someone seen as a ‘sounding board’ by the other leaders within the business. Position Responsibilities: Developing partnerships with the leadership team: Sales, Operations, Processes, Safety and HR. Contribute to the development and implementation of the overall financial strategy Establish strategic vision, objectives, policies and procedures for the department’s execution expectation. Manage associates involved with inventory, billing, analytics, and the customer experience. Assist with the development and establishment of KPIs to manage all aspects of the business. Provide required monthly management reporting, review and communicating results. Oversees and directs cash flow, budgeting, audit, efficiencies, working capital, fixed assets, inventory, balance sheet, and long range forecasting activities. Provide leadership for acquisition due diligence and integration. Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions along with their impact on the organization's policies and operations. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? Essential Skills and Experience: A Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred. A Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Finance or Accounting is required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred Position can be based in ATLANTA, GA or CHARLOTTE, NC Seven to ten years’ experience in financial accounting/ analysis in positions of increasing responsibility The ability to quickly build trust and rapport with leaders and associates at every level Experience managing departments with cross-functional teams Ability to maintain and handle confidential information. Strong organizational and communication skills are required Demonstrated ability to be personable, professional, responsive, knowledgeable, credible, trusted and drive value to an organization Strong experience and knowledge utilizing Google KITE applications, SAP, PowerBI, BPC and other financial systems as required. Past experience with employee training and development. Strong customer orientation.
