R10007280 Senior Accountant (Open) Location: Wilmington, DE (LLC Support) - ManagementRadnor, PA (Airgas HO) - Management How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Responsible for all aspects of the company's universal chart of accounts and organization reporting structure. Works with multiple departments to obtain accurate information in order to make changes to the ERP system. This position interacts and works closely with Finance personnel from the Corporate Office, Business Units, Order Management, Tax Department, and Supply Chain Management. This position is the point person for our team mailbox. They are expected to review and delegate requests as they see fit. The person in this role is expected to complete assignments with limited guidance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Liaison with Business units on organizational updates/changes. Provide guidance and knowledge as needed. Understanding of configuration as it pertains to the ERP system and what is needed for accurate setups. Including but not limited to fixed assets, material master setups, and cost accounting. Understanding of general ledger account usage, organization structure, organization reporting hierarchy, and statistical key figures. Understanding how general ledger transactions flow into our consolidated reporting structure. Maintaining and updating the master UCOA in our current ERP system (SAP) Sync of all SAP clients - production, development and test clients. Work closely with the Financial Reporting Systems team for BPC additions/changes. Provide service to internal customers by monitoring the team’s centralized email inbox. Responsible for reviewing all changes to the UCOA as it pertains to changes or updates in our ERP System (SAP-ECC). Master Data lead for acquisitions and conversions from other accounting systems to SAP. Updating the Company’s Intranet web page (Google - SAP Resources) for changes made to the UCOA. Maintain team training documentation and reference material. Complete other project work as assigned. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Required Length & Type of Experience: At least five to seven years of experience in an accounting role, with demonstrated understanding of accounting concepts. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills; ability to manage multiple priorities; ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing; ability to work under pressure and comply with deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/ Word and/or Google Sheets/Docs Hands-on user experience with SAP / other ERP systems preferred. Experience in working with different departments and cross-functional teams, including people development skills and leadership qualities. Strong work ethic and integrity that directs their work behavior and impacts their ability to provide high-quality work on a consistent basis. Flexibility and willingness to learn and take on new functions and responsibilities over time. Ability to think critically, work independently, and problem-solve within delegated authority, yet not afraid to ask for assistance to ensure accuracy / minimize errors. Applies procedures to ensure accuracy of output and adopts continuous improvement approach.
