Job Description Product Manager Job Description Business Manager for flame retardants sold into the E&E, appliances, auto, and telecom market segments. Manage business with a 1 - 5 year outlook. Communicate business and pricing strategy while managing product from "cradle to grave", including coordination with various departments across the organization. Responsibilities Include To set the pricing guidelines and to monitor bottom line performance To assist in the preparation of weekly outlook & of quarterly reports thru the monitoring of prices, volumes, and business performance To implement business plans – plan, do, check, revise To participate in the S&OP process (meetings, forecasting, etc.) To collect & analyze market and competitive intelligence, and to build a thorough understanding and knowledge of market To assist with the annual budgeting process Pricing, volume and business performance in the region Implementation of the business plan in the region (plan, do check, revise) Implementation and communication of strategy, objectives, and targets for the region Collection and analysis of market and competitive intelligence, understanding of the markets Providing input into global business management process Coordinate new product introduction, production expansion, or product repositioning in the market segments Establishment and realization of budgets Driving functional alignment and completion of milestones Maintenance of databases on markets/products/competitors in region Keep updated on status of new business development initiatives related to the business Requirements BS in Business, Finance, Chemistry, Engineering, or similar technical field 3 years commercial (marketing, business, or sales) experience required 5 years of non-commercial chemical industry experience in-lieu of technical experience Ability to travel both domestic and international Strong analytical skills required Excellent negotiation and influential skills Working knowledge of SAP and Business Intelligence reporting tools Proficient in English Experienced user of MS Excel, Proficient user of Word, PowerPoint Choose to unlock your full POTENTIAL.
