Job Description The project cost Analyst will be responsible for site larger projects’ cost estimation, cost controlling, Capex forecast, change management, risk analysis, risk management, and support of project objectives. Provide expertise and best practice implementation in the workplace for the region regarding to the cost estimation and cost controlling. Responsibilities: Develop/Facilitate project cost estimation for each stage (from FEL-1 till execution stages) of the whole project lifecycle. Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) in concert with project master schedule, and in conjunction with Project Execution Plans. Perform trend analysis and proactively evaluate project cost performance to identify potential risks, validate forecasts, and communicate effectively with key stakeholders. Develop dashboards to communicate cost performance to teams in real time. Implement a standardized suite of cost reports that enable senior management to make data driven decisions. Coordinate Project Controls team's contributions to development of project funding request. Implement change management practices and appropriately capture associated cost activities. Work with key stakeholders to identify project risks and lead the cost contingency management process for assigned projects. Lead ad-hoc cost studies that enable rapid decision-making based on payback, rate of return, NPV etc. Other work as needed in support of successful project delivery. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or other related fields 7 to 10 years of experience in project management, including cost management, contract management, change management: preferably in chemical and manufacturing industries Strong cost estimation background Good at communication with stakeholders Comprehensive understanding of Work Breakdown Structure, project coding structures and ability to implement cost management work processes on projects Comprehensive understanding of cost estimation philosophy and methodologies. Comprehensive understanding of risk management Demonstrated problem solving ability in cross-functional environment. Advanced MS Excel.
