US03 Lonza Walkersville Inc. is Hiring a Manufacturing Associate (3rd Shift) Near Walkersville, MD

Lonza Walkersville is IMMEDIATELY hiring a Manufacturing Associate who will be responsible for participating in upstream and/or downstream aseptic manufacturing of LAL (Limulus Amebocyte Lysate) products in an ISO 5 environment according to company and departmental SOPs. This Manufacturing Associate performs set-up and operate production equipment in the LAL Filling and Finishing areas. Also, performs product inspections and final kit packaging of finished goods. The work schedule for this 3rd shift position is Sunday 11:30 PM - Friday 8:00 AM at our Walkersville, MD site. This Manufacturing Associate will receive a 25% hourly salary increase after 8 weeks of training during the day shift schedule and after achieving and maintaining gown qualification. This includes shift differential. Key responsibilities: Completes batch records and production forms using GMP documentation practices Performs environmental and personnel monitoring of controlled areas Performs aseptic process manufacturing in a ISO 5 cleanroom Performs inspection and packaging of finished goods Comply with all safety policies and general regulations Operates Filling and Finishing production machinery Allocates inventory using SAP Perform other duties as assigned. Key requirements: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent required. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and aseptic clean room behavior, preferred Some working experience in GMP manufacturing environment with aseptic technique in ISO 5 cleanroom, preferred. Must be able to pass aseptic gowning qualification. Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have basic math, computer skills and good written and oral communication skills. Computer software skills including Microsoft Office and SAP, organizational skills, recordkeeping. skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and time management skills required.
