What will you gain working at ZF CVCS Minimum Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical institution certificate, or minimum 7 years of Information Systems work experience providing end-user technical assistance in a corporate environment. A , Network , CCNA and MCSA certification preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Ability to provide outstanding customer service. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to effectively work in a team environment Must be reliable and possess good organizational skills. 5-10 years detail oriented experience in a corporate client services environment. Experience with Remote Desktop or other remote assistance. Experience using and/or troubleshooting: Microsoft Windows client operating systems Microsoft Office Network printers, Zebra bar code printers and various bar code scanners Ethernet and Wireless networks Experience working with smart phones and tablets such as iPhones, iPads and Androids. Working knowledge and understanding of a broad range of desktop based hardware and software and networking concepts. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move and inspect computer terminals, printers and related equipment. Ability to enter and access information from a computer. Capable of sitting for prolonged periods of time at a computer screen. Ability to operate general office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax, etc. Works in office and production conditions but may be required to visit other department locations with data processing and related communication equipment. Travel requirements limited but may be necessary Willing to work during offline hours & weekend on exceptional cases Responsibilities and Requirements of the role: Duties and Responsibilities Day to Day operations, responding to support requests and technical issues via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium such as the incident management system. Provide feedback on work in progress. Troubleshoot technical issues related to client systems, applications, peripherals and remote connectivity. Maintain client environment using standard client management tools Organizes and prioritizes requests for service and on an as-needed basis works with vendor to resolve hardware and software problems. Demonstrates an understanding of and anticipates customers’ current and future needs Laptop / Desktop - break / fix with vendor support Coordinates work orders for the installation of new equipment and recycles old equipment. Assists in developing specifications and recommends computer related purchases to management Support of production line computing equipment such as PCs, bar code printers, bar code scanners and other specialized devices Assist with Asset management using standard asset tracking tool. Purchasing hardware, software, and peripherals Assist with Software License management. Assist in supporting with guidance from the corporate operational service delivery team of: Data Center Management Servers and Served Applications LAN/WAN Network Security and Data Protection (backup, anti-virus) Peripherals System imaging Ability to work with individuals with a wide range of computer skills, specifically when communicating technical information. Users may be local or remote. When necessary, escalate problems to management or the appropriate secondary level of support resource for resolution. Performs other related duties as assigned & assists with special projects as needed Guidance of externals
