Company: Marsh Description: Marsh is looking for an experienced Social Media Specialist to join its Global Digital Marketing team. This Social Media Specialist will report to the Global Head of Social Media. The Global Digital Marketing team (GDM) provides strategic direction to support brand awareness, lead generation, and sales enablement objectives across the business to include all owned, earned and paid digital media channels. The Global Social Media team is part of GDM and develops and implements leading social media programs aligned with company business strategy and objectives. The team’s scope of work includes overseeing end-to-end campaign development, planning, and publishing of all Marsh social platforms, including strategy, ideation, voice, operations, and analytics. What you’ll do: Collaborate with brand, editorial, creative, and marketing teams to develop and distribute content globally. Support day-to-day management and optimization of all social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and platform management tools such as Khoros, Trackmaven and Dynamic Signal. Serve as a platform super user and liaise with regional digital marketing teams and business practice leaders. Ensure timely completion of all requests through digital marketing workflow and direct requests from stakeholders. Work closely with third-party vendors and agencies with ongoing marketing communication and weekly calls, providing clear direction to ensure proper campaign and channel support. Attend regional digital marketing meetings, workshops, and training sessions to maintain social media best practices within regional sales and marketing communities. Be aware of, manage where appropriate, regional social media campaigns – organic and paid – and ensure country-level and practice-level marketers are following brand and quality standards. Maintain reporting on all levels of data to fully understand the business and performance optimization opportunities, while working to improve engagement and followers across all channels. Analyze and review social media performance, sharing insights and results with regional sales and marketing colleagues to maximize reach and awareness of thought leadership, global campaigns, and lead nurture. Assist in social listening and community management, providing real-time social care and support as needed. What you need to have: Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of 3 years of relevant social media marketing, digital marketing, and content marketing experience. Social media fluency across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, with an understanding of channel-specific nuances and best practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management skills and ability to work against deadline-driven engagements across multiple geographies, teams, and stakeholder groups. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data, analytics, and information. Ability to effectively engage top management, senior leaders, peers, and third parties in focused discussions around key topics. Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficient and influential user of digital communications to supplement in-person work environments limited by globally located teams (e.g., social apps, web conferencing, etc.) Proficient with social media management and analytics tools like Khoros, Sprinklr, and other tools like Data Studio, Google Analytics, Qlik or Tableau. Experience activating live social events, such as LinkedIn Live or other streaming formats. Strong personal presence on social media.
