The Quality Assurance Supervisor’s responsibilities includes providing leadership and network support in all aspects of safety and operations. This position requires leadership, guidance, and accountability for participants within an assigned scope of project. This includes working with vendors and independent contractors to meet customer scorecard expectations.

Individual tasks shall include, but not limited to the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Availability to travel weekly with flexibility for occasional weekends to be included to meet the company’s needs in all verticals. Approximately 95% travel required.
• Work with vendors and independent contractors to meet customer delivery requirement and end customer satisfaction.
• Orient vendors and independent contractors to enhance customer scorecards.
• Serves as a key support member for field management teams. 
• Perform vendor safety and road orientations for field operations.
• Assist with the rollout of field trainings and vendor/independent contractor orientation. 
• Perform IC orientations and huddle meetings to reinforce initiatives.
• Perform safety surveys and inspections, prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective, or preventive, measures have been implemented.
• Perform field audits and monitor routes for vendor and IC compliance.
• Perform vendor and IC road orientation and certification.
• Advise management on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Able to maintain a high level of professionalism, composure, and calmness throughout assigned projects. 
• Basic MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) experience required.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean, functional vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Experience/Education:

• College Degree preferred, or equivalent experience. 
• High school diploma required. 
• Previous transportation industry preferred.
• Six Sigma Certification preferred
