Treasure Valley Medical Group (TVMG) is a new outpatient metabolic medical clinic. We specialize in medical weight management and in the treatment of obesity related diseases. Our purpose is to manage our patient’s disease processes while supporting their weight loss. Our philosophy of care aligns with scientifically validated medical standards and are consistent with both the American Board of Obesity Medicine and American Diabetes Association. We believe in a “team” approach in treating illness, one that forms trust between provider, patient, family and community and one that encourages wellness. A variety of treatment options – including merging traditional and natural health are presented to each patent; however, current standards of care and guidelines are often prescribed and recommended. We provide excellent care and we are looking to develop a successful medical weight management program that includes psychotherapy.

About the Clinic/Job:

Where: Eagle, Idaho.

What: Provide psychotherapy services for our shared patients. This position would be part-time to start, with the opportunity to go full-time if desired. This could be 100% remote or in clinic or a hybrid model.

Who: We are currently looking for a counselor to join us in helping our community in their struggles with mental health that affect their weight management. You are willing to be paid on a per visit basis.

Essential functions include:

Willing to work with clients, children through adults, and common issues treated at TVMG include obesity, eating disorders, and more.

Provide individual counseling to our clients.

Strong focus on collaborative care.

Requirements:

Qualifications (required):

Master’s Degree

Maintain professional licensure for the State of Idaho as a Counselor, Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist.

LCSW

Pass a background check through Idaho Department of Welfare.
