LOCATION: REMOTE based in North America working standard 8 AM - 5 PM CST/EST Specialist, Strategic Sourcing - What this job involves Key Responsibilities Lead development and execution of all sourcing-related functions: performing due-diligence and assessment of prospective suppliers, executing RFx events, negotiating contracts and ensuring effective transition of operations during implementation Identify and lead appropriate field resources to execute initiatives, manage supplier relationships related to administrative and operational activities and issues Proactively engage with operations team to provide management and guidance in support of standardized RFx/contracting processes and procedures. Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations. Administer maintain, and ensure contracting and procurement compliance standards, risk, ethics, and policies and procedures are followed and maintained throughout the portfolio to both JLL and client requirements Ability to perform market analysis and share results with stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Partner with the Client, Facility and Property Management teams to drive both immediate and sustained benefits related to spend analysis initiatives to drive cost savings, operational efficiencies, and supplier performance improvements Lead sourcing initiatives that provide detailed service commodity strategies that identify objectives, leveraged spend initiatives, and milestone timelines Proactively manage internal and external client expectations Analyze pricing proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine the reasonability of vendor pricing and capabilities Support supplier diversity program in accordance with client and company requirements. Mentor/educate suppliers through meetings Build transparency of spend and key risks related to vendors, reporting results and actionable opportunities Establish and maintain relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management Partners to ensure all contractual terms and conditions remain compliant ensuring deviations from standard terms are formally reviewed and approved Engage in a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by leveraging business and industry intelligence, adopting, and participating in the development of best practices, new tools, process re-engineering and other ideas that provide service delivery efficiencies Assist in developing a comprehensive annual sourcing plan for commodity services including strategy, cost savings and risk mitigation Be subject matter expert in support of JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships and program management. Ensure contract, COI and systems compliance according to JLL and Client specifications Responsible for implementation, coordination, and communication of regional and national programs. Support Category Management team’s supplier relationship and performance programs with key suppliers. Provide management, instruction, and follow-up in support of operations teams RFP/bid, contracting and operational processes. Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations. Establish work priorities, assign deliverables, and resolve issues with Operations teams, temporary help and/or project-specific dedicated personnel to assure client satisfaction, customer satisfaction. Participate and provide leadership to Preferred Supplier performance review meetings. Support JLL e-commerce procurement initiatives. Perform additional job duties, as requested Qualifications BA/BS degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, highly desired. 3 years of related experience in procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, buying, or contract administration required. Experience with facilities, indirect categories, or services, is a plus. Understanding of master service agreements, certificates of insurance and routine accounting methods, preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and multi-tasking ability.
