Description

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing general daily operations from a clinical and administrative perspective ensuring all facilities are following policies and procedures.

Safety Officer: To make decisions on my behalf in the event of a situation deemed as an emergency regarding the safety of clients, staff and/or the general public.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION

1. Supervising a team to assure timely completion of work and adherence to policies and procedures, identifying all necessary resources required and identifying potential barriers.
2. Providing weekly supervision through weekly calls and on-site observation.
3. Responsible for overall operational performance and quality outcomes including client satisfaction at facilities.
4. Ensuring sufficient communication of information between all levels of the organization and the implementation of strategies.
5. Overall responsibility for site compliance with state/federal and/or certification/licensure and ensuring that training requirements are also met and maintained: to include but not limited to:
6. Safety Manual
7. Security Manual
8. Fire Safety Manual
9. Utility System Manual
10. Responsible for ensuring that there are written operational policies procedures in place across the facilities, that they are kept updated and reviewed periodically and are submitted, when necessary, to the Compliance Officer.
11. Providing oversight, guidance and completion of all location complaints and investigations related to staff and clients regarding operational procedures.
12. Working on management succession planning of the organization and ensuring that capable management is in place to handle the work efficiently.
13. Directing supervised staff in organizational development and training of staff.
14. Responsible for adherence to financial budgets and cost control, ensuring cost effectiveness and spending throughout the organization.
15. Reviewing breaches and development strategies, policies and procedures and their subsequent implementation.
16. On call 24/7.
17. Prompt and regular attendance.
18. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 5 years substance abuse or related work experience required.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

-CPR, AED, & First Aid Certified preferred. Required within 30 days of employment.

KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE:

-Requires a valid State of Florida Driver License

-Comprehensive understanding of facility safety, and also have a working knowledge of program standards as established by state licensing and accrediting bodies.

-Knowledge of documentation standards, along with excellent written and verbal skills.

Pay Range $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 annually 

commensurate with experience.
