Job Title: Delivery Driver

Reports to: Call Center and Delivery Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

Our Delivery Drivers ensure that products are delivered on time and in the proper condition while providing excellent customer service. Delivery Drivers are responsible for packing delivery order products into delivery cases and loading delivery cases into their vehicles before delivering orders to customers. During downtime in delivery volume, delivery drivers will also assist with in-store duties at the store management team’s discretion. A Delivery Driver will always deliver each order on time and with a high level of professionalism.

Duties/Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of delivery experience
• Valid CA Driver License
• Must have experience navigating and using mobile applications
• Proof of Eligibility to work in the US
• Must be willing and able to pass a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations
• Must be able to understand and operate GPS Technology
• Must have a hand free device
• Must have a clean driving report for the past 5 years
• No moving violations
• No seat belt violations
• No at-fault accidents
• No suspensions
• No DUI's
• No SR-22
• Must be willing to work with both methods of delivery, Batch and Dynamic
• Open to and responsible for issued vehicle equipment while on shift (cameras, gps)
• Must be willing to assist with any in-store duties during downtime in delivery volume per the store management team’s discretion and delegation. This includes but is not limited to budtender, cleaning, inventory, line monitoring, and reception.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Valid California Driver’s License

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to operate a vehicle
• Must possess navigational skills to read a map, and locate addresses within designated delivery area
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
• Carrying
• During delivery, carrying products while performing “walking” and “climbing” duties.

• Driving
• Deliver products within a designated delivery area.

• Walking
• Delivery personnel must travel between the warehouse/store and deliver vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer’s location.

• Climbing
• During delivery of products, navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required.

• Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time
• Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours at a time
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds safely and properly
• Must be able to operate and work through different weather temperatures and conditions
• Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work days, nights, holidays and weekends when necessary

Work Conditions:

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product and/or driving.

Pay: $18 / hour
