UPshow is Hiring a Revenue Operations Manager Near Chicago, IL

About the Role:

The Revenue Operations Manager will be an integral part of the Sales Operations Team, which evaluates, develops and maintains all of UPshow’s technology stack. This person will be responsible for identifying opportunities to drive revenue, identify go to market strategies to drive revenue and support the Sales Organization with process improvements. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining the Salesforce environment and will assist in managing all 3rd Party relationships that co-exist with the Salesforce instance. The Revenue Operations Manager will supply all the data, analytics and forecasting information to the Sales, Finance and Marketing Teams while collaborating cross functionally with all departments to ensure conceptualization of this information. This role will report to Sales and will have a small team to directly manage.

The Revenue Operations Manager will be responsible for internal leadership of Salesforce along with all other related tools. This individual will need to be able to work closely not only with Sales and Marketing but also Finance and Customer Operations and will serve as a strategic partner for these teams as they look to update processes and drive revenue. Specifically this person will:

  • Work cross-functionally with customer success, sales, finance, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to share insights and centralize information
  • Oversee systems and data administration and recommend tools to improve data quality, analysis, and reporting 
  • Manage dashboards and build revenue forecasts so teams can easily understand business health and meet goals
  • Partner with leadership to strategize, operationalize, and analyze the impact of business initiatives

Ideal candidates will have expertise with Salesforce administration and CPQ, but also possess experience and willingness to work flexibly across other revenue-related systems, such as Hubspot, SalesLoft and Chili Piper.

Candidates will thrive in this role if they are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and excited about building systems infrastructure in a way that enables sales, marketing, and customer success to excel in their roles. This individual will also be a self starter who thrives in a data centric environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Salesforce Administration (CPQ), System Development and Deal Desk
    • Uphold system architecture and data integrity
    • Continue ongoing maintenance of Salesforce CPQ
    • Trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structure and quoting, advises the team on alternative contract options, and directly manages UPshow Deal Desk.
    • Identify and implement Salesforce reporting standards: create, organize and collaborate reports and dashboards across all Organizational functions
    • Backup key systems regularly, perform regular data clean up and resolve system errors
    • Monitor 3rd party systems and their integration with Salesforce; troubleshoot where necessary
    • Assist and empower all departments to analyze data sets independently
    • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to assist in selecting and implementing new 3rd party tools
    • Install, configure and manage 3rd party applications
  • Data quality and management
    • Ensure clean data (as defined in partnership with key stakeholders) in all owned systems, with a particular emphasis on pipeline hygiene, customer and lead data quality
    • Establish and maintain automated reports to alert the team on data quality issues
    • Partner with CMO, CFO and VP of Sales to bring best-in-class reporting and insights to the team

What we require from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or professional qualification
  • 5-7 years of experience as Salesforce Administrator operating in an interconnected, complex data structure
  • Must reside in the Chicagoland area and be willing to come into the office twice a week 
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce.com, supporting a Sales Team, with an emphasis on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ
  • Experience overseeing integrations of 3rd party platforms, specifically Hubspot and Salesloft
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator 
  • Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
  • Thoughtful and thorough understanding of the sales process
  • A proactive attitude to platform enhancements
  • Strong analytical and abstraction skills, with the ability to understand relationships between data sets and provide context and recommendations
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Willingness to “lean in” in a fast-paced, fun start-up environment 
 
Desirable:
  • Experience administering the following tools: Hubspot Marketing Hub, SalesLoft, ChiliPiper, Salesforce Service Cloud, Docusign, ZoomInfo
  • Active in the Salesforce community
