The Business Process Specialist role is responsible for facilitating the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and seeking out opportunities to improve our market insights processes. This position requires an individual, with a breath of business experience, that is motivated to collaborate across departments and manage through others, either internal or third-party resources, to develop solutions for challenging problems. The Business Process Specialist will also be responsible for gathering inputs from cross-functional leaders, Subject Matter Experts (SME), and other team members to build monthly presentations to facilitate IBP meetings. This position will also be responsible for helping to seek out opportunities to document and improve the IBP process, and to help develop a more systematic approach to gathering competitive intelligence and market insights that will support change within standard work processes. Responsibilities Process Management Manage building of presentations for recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual business meetings. Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans. Build process models and flowcharts to document and train IBP, and other business processes. Guide process design changes by testing new software and integrating new systems or processes with existing ones. Market Insights Administration and Analysis Own the repository of competitive intelligence and market insights and coordinate regular updates. Develop reporting structure for insights to be delivered to key stakeholders, build broader organizational awareness of competitive and market activity. Develop data standards and work practices regarding the repository of insights and monitor conformance through assessments. Collaboration and Special Projects Leverage market insights and insights from IBP to proactively organize cross-functional teams that can respond to challenges as they emerge. Provide timely updates of progress on key issues and changes that may impact the business. Serve as a team member, or project lead, on one or more special projects. Support the development of solutions that address organizational challenges, support project objectives often by leading assigned engagement tasks to completion within scope and budget constraints, while ensuring deliverable requirements are met. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, supply chain, sales operations, or related field. Minimum of three years in a similar role. Self-starter mentality. Effective written and verbal communication skills including demonstrated presentation skills and group facilitation. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively in a team-based organization, across multiple locations, with management and individuals of various levels and backgrounds. Capable of making commitments, setting priorities, and delivering results on time. Strong business, analytical, statistical, and data-driven mind-set; meticulous work style. Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion. Outstanding decision making and problem-solving capabilities with an understanding of risk management where necessary. Knowledge of Project Management processes and tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced excel and power point skills.
