Para obtener más información, visite televisaunivision.com TelevisaUnivision Dallas is seeking a full time, entry level, Broadcast Technician to install and maintain Radio and TV studio equipment. The position is responsible for the day-to-day functionality and performance of all broadcasts related equipment. The equipment includes video servers, production switchers, and cameras/robotic, plus news production and playout automation systems, and all associated equipment and systems. The position also has working responsibility for ENG transmission, STL/TSL, and intercity relay microwave links to/from the station, as well as three transmitter sites and their related facilities. Job Responsibilities · Equipment configuration and maintenance including software/firmware integration and hardware repair to the component level. · Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace broadcast equipment during malfunction to assure station continuity. · Provide operational support to News, Creative Services, and Production while servicing station equipment as needed. · Maintains clean workshop environment. · Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment (PM). · Assists Director of Technology new equipment integration. · R.F. experience a plus · Must be willing to learn, grow and keep up to date with the ever-changing broadcast technology · Other duties as deemed necessary for station excellence. Required Skills & Experience · General knowledge of all Broadcast and Television Production equipment and processes. · Basic operation and understanding of the Microsoft OS and Office software applications and networking are helpful as well as Apple OSX, and DOS/UNIX command line scripting. Desired Skills & Experience · Ability to work closely with other staff members in problem solving capacity. · Bilingual Spanish/English desired although not required. · Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
