UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON INC is Hiring a Registered Nurse - Acute Care Float Pool (per Diem, rotating shifts) Near Wallingford, WA

UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a per diem (0% FTE, variable hours per week), rotating shift REGISTERED NURSE to join our Float Pool. This is a great opportunity to provide bedside care in a role where no two shifts are alike. Our Float Pool provides short term and long term staffing coverage on our Medical-Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, Ortho-Neuro, and Surgical Services floors.

SCHEDULE:

Per diem schedule, 12 hour shifts. This position can work straight nights or a mix of days and nights. Details will be provided in the interview.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Float Pool RN, you will:

Work alongside doctors, social workers, care managers and therapists

Restore patients' health by following evidence-based nursing practices

Identify care needs

Monitor and administer medications and IVs

Provide personalized care with compassion, dignity, and respect

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BLS

2 years of acute inpatient nursing experience

An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
