Assists in the direction and management of the revenue cycle operations for USA Health; assists in the efficient and effective operations of pre-authorization, patient access, health information management, billing, collections, customer service, cash posting, refunds, and payer credentialing; assists with the management of relationships with third party vendors such as collections and billing companies; collaborates with the organization and department in leading, training, and mentoring the revenue cycle team members; assists with developing, measuring, and monitoring key performance metrics such as cash posting and denials; supports activities for the successful control and management of the patient accounts receivable department; organizes and documents the key metrics and success of charge capture, claims production, claims scrubbing, billing, collections, patient experience, denial management, cash posting, and follow-up on collection services; contributes to the success of the revenue cycle by ensuring major audit controls are in place and are functioning; identifies and researches new technologies and workflow opportunities to improve operations in all areas of the revenue cycle process; manages with the other department leadership, the revenue cycle and regulatory requirements associated with governmental, managed care, and commercial payers; collaborates with other department leadership in the successful implementation and management of workflows, policies, procedures, and processes involved with both acute and physician practices revenue cycle; researched best practices and assists in the development of improvement strategies for management of the revenue cycle; analyzes payer data to determine denial and underpayment trends to accomplish business objectives; serves as a Cerner and other patient revenue system expert for training and improvement purposes; assists with the implementation and adherence to company reimbursement policies and procedures;regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.
Masters degree in business, healthcare administration, or directly related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by USA Health and five years of professional revenue cycle management experience in a management or administrative capacity or CHFP preferred. Will consider years of experience.
