University of Maryland Faculty Physicians is Hiring a Registered Nurse-Surgery Near Baltimore, MD
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Current Maryland licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Two to three years clinical experience
- CPR certification is required
Essential Functions
- Provides compassionate and high quality nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the
nursing functions of patients on the unit - Initiates and implements patient care plan
- Makes nursing assignments appropriate to the skill level of employees
- Maintains evidence-based standards of patient care
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
