Supports organizational operations by helping customers determine technology needs. The BSA is responsible for gathering business requirements, presenting proposed solutions, managing user acceptance testing, and assisting with the implementation and maintenance of technology solutions.
**Telecommuting: Position allows for telecommuting/work from home (up to 5 days per week depending upon business need and leader approval). Candidate must be within driving distance of office located in Iowa City, IA.**

- Responsible for collaborating with customers to gather and document technical requirements
- Responsible for analyzing current business processes and systems and suggesting improvements.
- Responsible for creating and documenting proposed technology solutions based on customer requirements and needs.
- Responsible for identifying business value, cost estimates, stakeholders, and high-level scope for project requests.
- Responsible for creating user stories, and user acceptance test plans. Assists customers with testing of software applications and system changes.
- Works collaboratively with others to trouble-shoot and resolve issues with application software and data warehouse systems.
- Assists in the training and documentation of software applications and data warehouse systems.
- Manages relationships with assigned customer areas to understand their operations, plans, and needs; serves as their single point of contact for the Information Technology department and communicates IT processes and procedures.
- Consults with customers about business needs and technology solution options.
- Stays current with business and technology trends and best practices.
- Assists in the improvement of UICA standards, processes, and procedures for technology project.

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a business or information systems field and 2 years of related experience preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
