Position Summary:
Are you self-motivated? Do you want to work in a positive, friendly office environment? Join our team at University of Alaska Human Resources as a Student Assistant! We will gladly work around your class schedule. This position is for on-site work on the Fairbanks campus.
To thrive in this role you will have the ability to pay close attention to detail, have excellent organizational skills, and be able to articulate and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. An understanding of handling confidential information and adhering to strict confidentiality protocol is a must. Successful applicants will also be able to work independently and have effective problem soloving/decision making skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must be a University of Alaska student, enrolled and regularly attending six (6) or more credit hours and must possess a 2.0 or better cumulative grade point average (CGPA).
Basic knowledge of computer operations and software applications
Experience with office-based software and experience with website management is a plus.
Position Details:
This is a Student Assistant 2; pay is $13.03 per hour.
