The University of Maryland Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security (ARLIS) seeks to hire one or more Faculty Research Specialists to support the Acquisition and Industrial Security (A&IS) Mission Area. You'll work closely with your customer to architect, deploy, and operate cyber-physical test beds that help model and simulate complex sociotechnical systems as well as assess and evaluate the performance and security of novel policies and technologies. You will use domain principles - including systems architecture, framework, and standards - to advise, administer, and perform research projects and ensure adherence to sound engineering and scientific standards for your customer. Your role includes opportunities for increased leadership responsibilities and direct interaction with project sponsors. This is a full-time position. The position is available immediately and the search will remain open until filled. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
