Responsible for conducting financial analysis, participating and/or overseeing assigned department projects, and performing advanced account analysis of complex financial transactions. Performs assigned accounting functions including preparation of comprehensive journal entries, month-end account analysis, and reconciliation of bank accounts, other assigned accounts, and schedules in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles.
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field required, plus four (4) years (five (5) preferred) of experience in accounting, budgeting, or financial analysis. Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel & Word required. Knowledge of Banner Finance software systems preferred. Equivalent education or related experience may be substituted for the degree requirement, on a year for year basis.
