Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Manager Human Resources Services, serves as a primary point of contact for University Hospital staff and management, and performs a variety of Human Resources services at the professional level. Performs effective recruitment activities, and functions as a business liaison and information resource for benefits, employee/labor relations, compensation, performance management, HRIS reports, terminations and layoffs to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services through the Human Resources Department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field required. A minimum of three (3) years of experience, preferably as a Human Resources Generalist or in a related area is required. Strong communications and interpsersonal skills; excellent oral and written skills; strong team and customer service orientation; and, must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgement that is consistent with practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government laws. Ability to work proactively on an independent basis. Must be PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements. PHR Certification is highly preferred.
