Overview

Assist with all aspects of preparation, research, and analysis of Financials. Leads support of day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides functional guidance/advice and training to Analyst team.
• Leads the preparation and distribution of annual budget, reforecast, and consolidation process.
• Analyze financial operations, estimate future revenues, and expenditures to prepare budget.
• Assist with operational reviews. Research, analyze, and interpret actual results, explain discrepancies, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Prepare and present financial data and reports as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Bachelors Degree in finance or related field
• 5 years of finance or accounting experience

• Interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and follow through on work.
• Ability to gain, understand and apply information and data as it relates to finance.
• Ability to work with upper management
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum.
• Knowledge of software applications including; Microsoft Office, Crystal Reports, Hyperion and PeopleSoft, Apprise, and Cognos.

Abilities

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds or less 5% of the workday
• Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday
• Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn and reason for all of the workday
• Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
• Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday.

Work Environment

• Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
