Description

SUMMARY: The Jr. Recruiter is someone who possesses a self-driven mindset, gets a thrill out of meeting or beating recruiting goals, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality talent sourcing. A natural self-starter: mature, credible, reliable, and comfortable dealing with all levels of associates. Keen for new experiences, thinks outside of the box to reach goals, with a strong sense of personal accountability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates for a variety of warehouse personnel positions, with some ‘backstage’ office roles
  • Ability to use and maneuver all forms of communication to help facilitate candidate engagement: phone calls, text messages, Microsoft Teams, emails, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized while supporting a fast paced and ever-changing Operations Team.
  • Effectively prepare all candidates for their interview with hiring managers.
  • Be proactive around communication that is both timely and accurate, for both candidate base and internal team members.
  • Assist and lead candidates through their online application and onboarding documents.
  • Ensure accurate employee recordkeeping, while also ensuring a strong candidate to new hire experience.
  • Ability to facilitate communication in both Spanish and English, both written, aural, and orally.
  • Assist with job fairs and other hiring initiatives.

OTHER DUTIES include the following:

  • Trench worker, willing to roll up sleeves to do what needs to be done.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and curious when seeking out solutions.
  • Organizes work in a structured and well-planned manner.
  • A leader among peers, motivates and helps set the team up for success.
  • Takes ownership and responsibility on planning and executing UC recruitment plans, projects, and initiatives as they arise.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6 months sales or customer service experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Supply Chain knowledge is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to high-performing teams
  • Results oriented, high achiever, and performer
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communicator

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • GED or High School Equivalent, but not required
  • Desire to learn about People Operations, Talent Sourcing & Acquisition

  • Travel required 10% of the time
